5kWh Battery Storage Systems

BSLBATT 5kWh battery storage systems cover wall-mount, rack-mount, and ultra-thin form factors for home solar self-consumption and backup power. All models support parallel expansion to scale system capacity without replacing existing hardware.

Safe Chemistry

All models use cobalt-free LiFePO4 cells. The stable cathode structure eliminates oxygen release under thermal stress, suitable for indoor wall-mount and enclosed rack installations without active ventilation.

Lasting Cycle Life

Rated for 6,000+ cycles at 25°C with 95% depth of discharge. The Li-Pro 5120 extends to 8,000+ cycles, equivalent to 16+ years of daily use before capacity drops below 80%.

Flexible Installation

Five form factors cover rack-mount, standard wall-mount, IP65 outdoor wall-mount, and 90mm ultra-thin configurations. All models support standard 19-inch rack or direct wall fixing.

Parallel Expandability

Every 5kWh model supports parallel connection without additional control units. Rack series scales to 63 units for 322kWh per bank; wall-mount series scales to 32 units for 163kWh per bank.

Wide Inverter Support

The integrated BMS supports 40+ adaptive inverter protocols via RS232, RS485, CAN, WiFi, and Bluetooth. Official listing partners include Victron Energy, Deye, Goodwe, Solis, SolaX, and 15+ additional brands.

Certified for Global Markets

Certifications include CE, IEC 62619, IEC 62040, IEC 62477, UL1973, and AU CEC, covering Europe, North America, and Australia. UN38.3 transport certification is standard across all models.

FAQ

How long will a 5kWh battery last on a single charge?

Runtime depends on the connected load. A 5kWh battery can power essential home loads of around 500W for approximately 8 to 10 hours, or higher loads of 2kW for 2 to 3 hours. Actual performance varies by inverter efficiency and depth of discharge settings.

How much does a 5kWh lithium battery cost?

Pricing varies by model, configuration, and order volume. Wall-mount and rack-mount 5kWh LiFePO4 batteries differ in cost based on form factor and certification level. Contact our team for current pricing and distributor rates.

Is a 5.12kWh LiFePO4 battery better than a lead-acid equivalent?

Across most performance metrics, yes. A 5.12kWh LiFePO4 battery delivers 95% usable capacity versus 50% for lead-acid, lasts 6,000+ cycles versus 300 to 500 for lead-acid, requires zero maintenance, and operates reliably across a wider temperature range of -20°C to 55°C.

Can a 5kWh battery system be expanded later?

Yes. All models in this range support parallel expansion. Rack series supports up to 63 units; wall-mount series up to 32 units. Expansion requires a DC combiner box and compatible cabling. No replacement of the existing battery is needed.

How long does a 5kWh lithium battery last in years?

Rated for 6,000+ cycles at 25°C with a 10-year warranty and a design life of 15+ years. At one full cycle per day, capacity remains above 80% for 16+ years under normal operating conditions.
