Introductions

A farm in Ireland recently successfully installed a BSLBATT energy storage battery designed to save energy costs and promote sustainable agriculture. The battery storage system includes a 24 kW solar array, installed facing south, made up of 5440 watts of Jinko solar panels, and efficiently managed by a 10 kVA Victron inverter and two 450/200 MPPT controllers. To ensure 24/7 power supply, the system is supported by a 20 kW energy storage system made of three 6.8 kW BSLBATT lithium batteries.
Since its operation began in September 2024, the system has significantly lowered the farm’s electricity costs and marked an important step toward energy transformation, demonstrating the immense potential of solar technology in agriculture.

Benefits

The project significantly reduces the energy costs of the farm, improves the stability and independence of the energy supply and promotes sustainable agriculture. By using BSLBATT energy storage batteries, the farm reduces its dependence on traditional energy sources and ensures a 24/7 power supply through the energy storage system. In addition, the successful implementation of the project has demonstrated to other agribusinesses the great potential of solar energy systems to reduce costs, improve energy efficiency and promote green transformation.
