Project Introductions

Barbados, like many small islands, faces unique challenges when it comes to energy access. With limited infrastructure and occasional disruptions to the power grid, residents and businesses often rely on expensive and polluting diesel generators. The need for a reliable, sustainable energy solution is critical, especially for off-grid locations. To address this, a new off-grid solar system was installed, featuring four 10kWh BSLBATT batteries and two Victron Quattro inverters, providing a total of 40.96 kWh of backup power. This system ensures a stable and renewable power supply, even in remote areas, while significantly reducing reliance on diesel generators.

Product Descriptions

Powerline-10 is BSLBATT’s latest ultra-slim wall-mounted domestic energy storage battery, which is only 90mm thick, making it ideal for use in tight spaces. It has a capacity of 10.24 kWh and is based on environmentally friendly lithium iron phosphate technology with long cycle life and deep discharge. The battery is highly scalable, with up to 32 units connected in parallel. Its built-in BMS is compatible with most 48V inverters on the market.

User Benefits

This off-grid solar solution offers reliable energy independence by providing clean, renewable power that can be quickly recharged and used in areas without stable grid access. The system replaces diesel generators, cutting down on harmful emissions and noise pollution, contributing to a cleaner, quieter environment. With reduced dependence on fossil fuels, the system not only lowers operational costs over time but also ensures peace of mind with a reliable, sustainable energy source that supports both the community and the environment.
