In Limpopo, South Africa, the demand for stable and sustainable energy is rapidly increasing as both residential and commercial sectors seek reliable power solutions. The region faces significant energy supply challenges, driving a growing need for independent and renewable energy sources.

To address these challenges and reduce grid strain, a pioneering renewable energy project has been launched. This system consists of 12 x 64 kWh ESS-GRID HV PACK units (totaling 768 kWh capacity) and 6 x 50 kW 3-phase Sunsynk inverters, supported by 720 ground-mounted solar panels. Designed to ensure energy independence and stability, the system is housed in a double-insulated, temperature-controlled battery room, equipped with 2 x 12,000 BTU inverter air conditioners to maintain peak efficiency.

Product Descriptions

The ESS-GRID HV PACK is a high-voltage LiFePO4 battery system designed for residential, small commercial, and industrial solar energy storage. It offers excellent discharge performance and long cycle life, providing reliable backup power while reducing electricity costs. The system consists of 5-12 3U 7.8kWh battery modules, and supports parallel connections for flexible capacity ranging from 39kWh to 466kWh. With features like modular stacking, high efficiency (115V-800V), and low energy loss, the ESS-GRID HV PACK ensures a reliable and scalable energy solution. It also supports cloud system integration, remote upgrades, and Bluetooth/WiFi connectivity for easy monitoring and maintenance.
